This Privacy Policy explains how PAO Labs LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit our website, submit a form, or receive SMS messages through Cue.

Information We Collect

Website Visitors

When you submit a form on this site, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and business name. This information is stored securely for the purpose of following up with you about Cue.

SMS Recipients

When a business that uses Cue sends you an SMS using a phone number they have obtained consent for, we collect:

  • Your phone number
  • Caller ID information provided by your carrier (if available)
  • The content of your SMS conversation with our system

How We Use Your Information

Website Inquiries

Your information is used only to contact you about your interest in Cue — beta access, onboarding, and product updates.

SMS Conversations

Your phone number and conversation data are used solely to assist with your inquiry and connect you with the business you called. Conversation summaries may be shared with that business to help them follow up with you.

SMS Messaging Service

Consent

Participating businesses are contractually required to obtain SMS consent from their contacts through their own intake processes (web forms, service agreements, verbal consent, or other documented methods) before using Cue to message them. In addition, the first SMS Cue sends to any new contact is an opt-in prompt that requires an affirmative reply (YES) before any further messages are sent. Consent is never a condition of any purchase or service. For details, see our SMS Information page.

How We Use SMS Data

We use your phone number only to send text messages related to your specific inquiry with the business you called.

  • No Marketing: We do not use your phone number for marketing or promotional messages
  • No Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your conversation, typically 1–10 messages per inquiry. If a conversation becomes inactive, you may receive up to 3 follow-up messages over 14 days to help complete your inquiry. Msg & data rates may apply.

Your SMS Choices

Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately. Reply HELP for support information. Opt-out requests are honored instantly and permanently for that business.

TCPA Compliance

Cue is used only by participating businesses to message contacts who have consented to SMS communications through the business’s own intake processes. The first message Cue sends to any new contact is an opt-in request, and we do not continue messaging unless the recipient replies YES. Every message includes opt-out instructions, and we honor all STOP requests immediately.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

For SMS recipients, conversation summaries are shared only with the business you originally called so they can assist you.

Data Retention

We retain your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. For website inquiries, this means until you request deletion or we determine follow-up is no longer relevant. For SMS conversations, data is retained for service delivery and compliance purposes.
