About Cue

Cue is a conversational customer-care SMS service used by small businesses to follow up with contacts who have engaged with them. Participating businesses are responsible for ensuring that contacts have consented to SMS communications through the business’s standard intake processes (web forms, service agreements, verbal consent, or other documented methods). In addition, the first SMS Cue sends to any new contact is an opt-in request — we do not continue messaging unless the recipient replies to confirm consent.

SMS Messaging Terms

Program Name: Cue by PAO Labs LLC

Program Description: Cue provides conversational customer-care SMS for participating businesses. Contacts receive messages only after the business has obtained consent through its own intake processes, and the first Cue message to any new contact is an opt-in request that requires an affirmative reply before the conversation continues.

How Consent Works: The very first message you receive from Cue will identify the business, explain that you were contacted because you engaged with them, and ask you to reply YES to continue by text. Until you reply YES, no further messages will be sent. You may reply STOP at any time to opt out.

Message Frequency: After you opt in, you may receive 1–10 messages per conversation depending on your responses. If a conversation becomes inactive, you may receive up to 3 follow-up messages over 14 days. Message frequency varies based on your engagement.

Message and Data Rates: Msg & data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.

Opt-Out: You can cancel at any time. Text STOP to opt out and stop receiving messages. After sending STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent.

Supported Carriers: Cue supports messaging on all major US wireless carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PAO Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PAO Labs LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

For Businesses Using Cue

If you are a business using Cue to communicate with your contacts, you agree to the following at onboarding and throughout your use of the service:

• •You certify that every contact whose phone number is used with Cue has provided prior consent to receive SMS communications from your business through your standard intake processes (web forms with SMS checkbox, signed service agreements, verbal consent, or other documented methods).
• •You understand that Cue’s first message to any new contact is an opt-in prompt and that no additional messages will be sent unless the contact affirmatively replies YES.
• •You will honor opt-out requests immediately and will not attempt to re-contact a number that has replied STOP.
• •You will comply with all applicable laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CTIA guidelines, and state regulations regarding SMS communications.

These certifications are confirmed during onboarding. Additional terms may apply as outlined in your service agreement with PAO Labs LLC.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
